About Nick

“With the right help and guidance, it’s possible to understand these patterns, reclaim control, and rediscover connection, freedom, and hope.”

Nick Abraham has worked with individuals and families navigating addiction, trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD, mood and anxiety challenges. His experience spans Canada and the United States, from Hazelden Betty Ford in Minnesota to Edgewood Treatment Centre in Nanaimo, BC. These experiences have given him the opportunity to support clients from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds, bringing both professional expertise and personal lived experience to his work. Over the course of his career, Nick has helped thousands of people create meaningful, lasting change.

Nick works with you to explore how your past experiences have shaped your beliefs, habits, and emotional patterns, helping you develop healthier ways of living. He focuses on uncovering root causes, shifting unhelpful thought patterns, managing overwhelming emotions, and building stronger relationships. Nick believes the therapeutic relationship is key to lasting change, and he strives to create a space where every client feels seen, heard, and valued.

Based on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Nick enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife, two daughters, and cat. He has a deep love for the outdoors and brings that same energy and balance to his work with clients.
